Facilities

We have an office suite in the Psychology ("Central") Building Annex that students may use for studying etc.

We have a storage space in the Dental Building #126 (the old hotel across the parking lot from the Psychology Building) that temporarily contains rodent testing  equipment that is not currently being used for experiments in the Medical Center Animal Care Facility and/or Risley Hall basement #122:

  • accelerating rotarod
  • neurological test battery apparatus
  • grip strength tester
  • etc.

Our space at Mountain View Plaza (MVP) contains Drosophila melanogaster and c elegans colonies / incubators and behavioral testing equipment, including assays for learning, sensorimotor function, etc.

It also includes our microscopes, multimode microplate reader and accessories, as well as computers etc. for data collection and student use.
